BCLS/CPR Provider Course The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, bag-mask device, and oxygen), use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of the foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). It is intended for participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
BCLS Refresher Course The Recertification Course is designed for the HCP who needs to renew their BLS-HCP card. To be eligible for the recertification course the participant must be a current (60 day grace period) BLS-HCP provider.
American Heart Association Instructor Course The AHA Instructor Courses consists of 2 modules. The first module is the "core instructor course" and the second is discipline specific (ACLS, BLS/CPR or PALS) material. If you wish to pursue more than one AHA Instuctor course you only need to take the "core instructor course" once and add the additional discipline specific module. Pre-requisites are: Current provider in AHA HCP-BLS/CPR and licensed as a medical health care provider (e.g. EMS, RN, MD, DO, etc)
